Take The First Step

Insurance Support

Therapy that moves you forward. Let us take it from here.

Life can be incredibly difficult, complex, and, at times, confusing. It can also be rewarding, fulfilling, and enlightening. Our role as therapists is to help you better understand yourself and, in so doing, equip you with the skills and insight needed to live your life in a way that is rich and meaningful, whatever that looks like to you.

Yes we offer in-person appointments at our office at 347 5th Avenue, New York, NY 10016. We also offer virtual appointments over Zoom.

We are in-network with Aetna, Cigna and Northwell Direct.

We are an out-of-network provider for all other plans. Most insurance plans provide out-of-network benefits and we’ve found that most of our clients who have a PPO are able to get 50-80% of each session reimbursed after meeting the deductible.

Searching for a therapist in NYC who accepts insurance can be challenging. Many people struggle to find the right fit with an in-network therapist, whether due to relationship dynamics, availability, or other factors. As a result, some choose to go out-of-network to find a therapist who meets their unique needs. We know that the bond between client and therapist is a key predictor of success, as supported by research. For clients who see us as out-of-network providers, we’re happy to provide invoices for reimbursement through their insurance.

If your insurance plan doesn’t cover out-of-network therapists, or if you have a high deductible, lack an HSA or FSA, we offer sliding scale therapy for a limited number of clients. This allows us to provide high-quality care that aligns with both your therapeutic needs and financial circumstances. When our sliding scale slots are open, we work with clients to match them with a therapist who fits their unique situation and budget.

From questions about costs to what to expect from our therapy, we’re here to answer. Email us at info@createoutcomes.com or speak to a member of our amazing NYC team at 866-232-7328.

There are times in life when it feels as though we have hit roadblocks or come to a standstill. These can make us feel overwhelmed and confused. Acknowledging that there’s a challenge and reaching out for support is the first step toward creating the life you envision for yourself.

I offer a caring, culturally sensitive, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore and work through life’s challenges. I have experience working with young adults and adults who present with issues relating to anxiety, depression, adjustment, family conflict as well as grief. Being African American and coming from a culturally diverse background, I understand the experience of navigating life between two worlds, which allows me to connect with clients who share similar identities and challenges.

I consider myself an integrative therapist, drawing on approaches that best suit each client’s needs. I work from a person-centered perspective because I believe in empowering you to guide your own growth and self-exploration. CBT allows us to address current issues by reshaping negative patterns, while psychodynamic therapy provides insight into how past experiences influence your present. My approach is flexible and client-centered, tailoring each session to where you are in your journey and providing a welcoming environment for self-discovery and healing.
Psychotherapy can help you cope with feelings of depression, anxiety, and grief you may be experiencing today. It can also help you clarify your values and goals, and find the empowerment to live them, even when you’ve been feeling stuck. We will work together to recover your motivating inner voice of self-love that can often be drowned out by self-criticism.

Using a psychodynamic and strengths-based approach, I will work with you to uncover connections between your challenges today, and past experiences that may be impacting them. Past experiences, even painful ones, can show us evidence of your strengths. You’ve come through a lot already to get to this day!

I am committed to creating a warm, comfortable space for us to look at, honor, and learn from your present, past, and your future vision. Your unique identity, including your culture and spirit, gender and sexuality, are all welcome as we empower your authentic self. I have special interest in life transitions of all kinds, high-achiever & professional stress, identity issues, persons who are LGBTQ+ identified, anxiety, depression, recovery from addictions and compulsive behaviors, grief and loss. I’m excited to partner with you on your healing and thriving path.

In a world where self-care is marketed as bubble baths and face masks, I firmly believe the most constructive act of self-care is weekly talk therapy. Our emotional health is as important as our physical health, and yet we often overlook or underestimate the impact it has on our daily life. Whether you’re new to therapy or looking to begin a new chapter in your therapeutic journey, finding a therapist can be intimidating. At our core, we all want to feel validated and understood. I am committed to making therapy a client-centered, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where you can feel safe, seen, and heard.

Together, we’ll explore how social, cultural, and environmental factors influence your emotional state, creating a fuller understanding of where you are today. We’ll start by building a strong, trusting foundation together and will work to identify your unique goals, adapting as we go to ensure our work stays meaningful and aligned with where you are. The beauty of therapy lies in the ability to pivot, revisit, and reestablish our path.

I vow to celebrate every facet of your identity, and I encourage you to come exactly as you are. I would be honored to be a part of your journey.
My practice centers on empathy, respect, and a deep commitment to understanding the many layers of human experience. I approach each client with the belief that therapy should reflect and honor who you are. As a first-generation Jewish American from a family who emigrated from the USSR, I bring a personal awareness of how cultural heritage and identity can shape our experiences. I would be honored to provide a space for you to heal, grow, and explore in a way that feels both safe and meaningful.

By incorporating your unique cultural values and perspectives, I strive to make our work together not only impactful but also authentically aligned with your identity. Our work together begins by building a trusting foundation, through which we’ll explore both the roots of your challenges and the hidden influences that may shape your choices. By working toward self-insight, we can help you feel more empowered in how you engage with the world around you.

Whether you’re facing unresolved trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, postpartum struggles, or significant life transitions, I offer a compassionate approach to support your journey.

Mental health touches every part of our lives. When we’re at our best mentally and emotionally, we show up better for our friends, partners, family, colleagues—and, importantly, ourselves. But when we’re weighed down by anxiety, stress, depression, past trauma, grief, or other challenges, it can feel nearly impossible to fully engage with the world around us. I understand that struggle because I’ve been there myself.

Opening up and seeking help wasn’t easy for me, especially as a man of color. I was raised to hold things in, to “tough it out.” But I realized that to truly heal and grow, I needed to break through that conditioning. Taking that step was one of the most important choices I’ve made, and I don’t regret it for a moment. We all deserve the right tools to help us face life’s difficulties, make peace with the past, confront our fears, and find strength for the future. That’s where I come in. Think of me as your GPS, helping you navigate the twists and turns of life’s road so you can reach the best version of yourself.

In therapy, I bring an easygoing yet dedicated presence. I’m here to listen without judgment, guide with empathy, and help you find your way forward at your own pace. When you’re ready to hit the road, I’ll be here to navigate alongside you. Together, we’ll chart the path to a version of you that feels stronger, freer, and more resilient.
At Create Outcomes, we help people overcome anxiety, depression, loss, and relational difficulties. Our approach is an integration of psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral modalities, which means we will explore the way you experienced the world from birth until present in order to identify habits and behaviors that have become roadblocks to living in alignment with the person you want to be. We utilize LifeMaps, a collaborative treatment plan where you can track progress and see your therapy notes. The Map is your treatment plan translated from clinical terms to language that better represents the work we do.

We embrace an expansive view of the individual and collaborate with clients to explore how their sense of self, past experiences, environment, and culture, impacts their current moods, relationships, experiences, and self-beliefs. We will work together in identifying what areas of life you would like to further explore to best reach your goals/growth in this process of self-discovery.

As a team, we bring years of training and a range of experiences. We’re here to listen, apply our knowledge, and help you take it from here.
